ABOUT RIWI

Built for what comes after surveys.

RIWI is the tech-enabled insights partner for the post-AI research stack — where authentic human signals are the only ones worth training on, and where insights teams need methodology that survey-only platforms can't deliver.

OUR MISSION

What we're trying to do.

Insights research has been broken in the same direction for decades: stated preference doesn't match observed behavior, panels can't reach the populations that matter most, and the methodology to capture the difference is too expensive or too slow for most teams to use.

AI is making the underlying problem worse. Bots have already broken survey verification. Synthetic respondents are entering pipelines without anyone noticing. The data your AI is training on — and the data your business decisions are built on — is increasingly fraudulent.

RIWI exists to keep authentic human signal at the center of decision-making. We do this through the methodology — RDIT for reach, behavioral and implicit measurement for the say-do gap, multi-signal liveness for verification, AI synthesis for analysis at the speed insights teams need.

As AI scales, the value of authentic human ground truth increases. We're the platform built for that reality.

WHAT WE BUILD

The RIWI Platform — three products, one login.

RIWI's product is the Platform — three products under one roof:

  • Audience — high-quality reach including hard-to-reach, in 200+ countries, powered by RDIT
  • VerifyHuman — AI-resistant respondent verification, multi-signal liveness, pre-survey fraud prevention
  • Research — full-cycle studies with AI in every part, powered by CoolTool — surveys, implicit, behavioral, sensory, eye-tracking, all in one builder

Used together by default, usable independently. Built for insights teams, agencies, research platforms, government and NGOs, and the academic researchers who set the methodological standards we follow.

OUR JOURNEY

From global reach to integrated intelligence

2009

Founded in Toronto

RIWI Corp founded with a vision to reach global populations using the open internet — pioneering Random Domain Intercept Technology (RDIT).

2015

Public Listing

Listed on TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV: RIWI). Government and academic clients establish RDIT as the standard for hard-to-reach population research.

2022

Research on Mobile Acquisition

Acquired Research on Mobile (ROM) — survey software that profiles respondents and dynamically matches them to global research marketplaces. Expanded RIWI's respondent-routing infrastructure and audience supply.

2024

CoolTool Acquisition

April 2024. Acquired CoolTool, an AI-powered research platform with behavioral measurement — eye-tracking, emotion, implicit testing — adding the non-conscious / System 1 layer to the Insight Engine.

2024

TheoremReach Acquisition

October 2024. Acquired TheoremReach — a survey monetization platform connecting app and website developers with researchers. ~$2.4M USD purchase consideration. Expanded the developer / publisher audience supply for the Audience module.

2025

Record Growth

Achieved record growth with 55.4% TTM revenue increase. The integrated platform is generating results across all three product lines.

2026

VerifyHuman Integration

Integrated VerifyHuman — AI-resistant respondent verification with multi-signal liveness. Every RIWI study now verified pre-survey, by default.

OUR VALUES

What drives us

01 / 04

Truth Over Comfort

We measure what people actually do, not what they claim. That means our data sometimes challenges assumptions. That's the point.

02 / 04

Build, Don't Bolt On

We acquire and integrate capabilities into one platform — not resell third-party tools behind a wrapper.

03 / 04

Global by Default

Every product designed for 200+ country reach from day one. No geo limitations as an afterthought.

04 / 04

Ship and Improve

Built first, pitched later. Our $6.4M revenue proves the model. The vision follows the traction.
